Very stylish super comfy guest house in the perfect location

The perfect location amongst it all but quiet. The style & decor of the house. The home from home ambience. The quality of the bed & bedding. The shower that worked perfectly. Most importantly though Fernanda who is the manager…such s lovely kind friendly helpful person.

There could have been some hooks to hang up some clothes.

Quaint calm oasis in a central location

Everything. I arrived late evening after a long flight from Madrid. I was greeted by Fernanda, who welcomed me, showed the shared spaces and then my room. The room was very large, comfortable, clean and well furnished. The communal areas are quaint and cozy and the kitchen is well equipped and very clean. The guest house is well located to the centre and it sits in a vibrant area and street. Fernanda was really helpful with suggestions and recommendations. This was definitely a great place to stay and would highly recommend the guest house for those who are seeking a calm oasis. Thanks Reena

I can’t recommend Magdalena Guest House enough. We stayed here twice during our stay in Colombia and Fernanda went above and beyond both times for us. She even helped us get a room at 2 o’clock in the morning when I had messed up my reservation and booked for the wrong day. Lovely hotel, comfy beds, and you feel like family. Thank you!!

Great property, in a location, great host.

The house is modern, clean, cozy and very well located. Being able to use filtered water and tea as you like it’s a nice perk. My bed was VERY comfortable and I slept very well. It was also surprisingly quiet at night, despite the central location. The house wouldn’t be that fantastic if if Fernanda was not there! She is an amazing host, super friendly and kind. She made me feel like home and gave me the greatest recommendations to enjoy my time in Bogota. Definitely would go again and highly recommend to others

The host was very nice. She had some good tips and we were feeling at home.at Magdalena guesthouse. The location was good, a few nice restaurants in the same street. You can visit all important spots in Candalaria by foot.

We had a really nice stay in this beautiful small guest house. The rooms are quite big and the bathrooms were new. There is a kitchen where you can find everything you need. After a long trip getting to Bogotá it felt like an oasis The location is great. It's a save neighborhood where you can do a lot of things. The hosts are super friendly and make you feel at home.

lovely stay. perfect place to chill out!

lovely old building right in the centre of La Candelaria, with modern finishes, an amazing kitchen and a lovely cat. very peaceful place to stay and felt incredibly safe and comfortable here. The host Juan was incredibly welcoming and very knowledgeable about the area. beds were also very comfortable!

room was perhaps a little dark but really nothing else I didn’t like.

Located in the safe area of La Candelaria, close by El Museo de Botero, la Plaza de Bolívar and other nice spots to visit/see. Several bars and restaurants in the neighborhood. The room is clean and well equipped (beds are amazing).

The procedure of arrival is not 100% intuitive, the name is not indicated in the street and there is a closed gate before reaching the house.

Very good

We stayed for one night in this place in the heart of La Candelaria. The owner helped us around and was nice and welcoming. He even let us store our bags there for 2,5 weeks since we had a lot of winter clothes with us which we didn't need. The room was nice and comfy and the bathroom as well. There's a lot of bars and cafes nearby but the room itself is quiet. Great place!

The house had a bit of a cigarette scent, due to the smoking area being in an outside patio which is linked to the house.

Located in the heart of the Candelaria, this hotel is clean, quiet and has the best bedding of our stay in Colombia. Very good value for money at the time of our stay.

Great place to stay in Candelaria

Very friendly host and great location. The rooms were clean and the bed was comfortable. We also liked we had an all-day acces to the kitchen to prepare ourselves some tea, coffee, or breakfast.

The rooms are quite noisy, but after 20.00 everyone was very quiet so that was not much of a problem. Also, if you are looking for a cute and cozy room, this stay may not be your best choice. But that's a matter of taste.
